1. Made-to-order custom work
Everything at Crafts by Depietro LLC is made to order. Items shown in the shop and gallery are examples of past work and available styles; the final piece is created specifically for you after your request is approved and payment is received.
2. Submitting a request
You can submit a request through the site, the AI gift builder, or by email. Submitting a request does not create a binding order. I will review your request, ask any follow-up questions, and provide a quote and estimated timeline before work begins.
3. Quotes and approval
Each quote includes the item description, materials, estimated price range, final price, timeline, and any shipping or pickup details. Work begins only after you approve the design concept and quote in writing (through the site or email) and payment is received.
4. Design proofs and revisions
For custom work, I provide design proofs through your customer dashboard. You may approve the proof or request reasonable changes. Major changes after approval, or changes that require new materials, may require additional cost and time.
5. Payment
Payment is due before order creation and shipping. I send invoices through Square, and your order is confirmed only after payment is received. There are no late fees, but work and shipping will not begin until payment is complete.
6. Shipping and pickup
Local pickup is available. For shipped orders, shipping is paid by the buyer. I use Pirate Ship to purchase labels and will share tracking information once your order ships. Delivery times depend on the carrier and are not guaranteed.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Because each item is custom made, cancellations and refunds depend on how far along the order is:
- Before work begins: You may cancel for a full refund.
- After materials are purchased or work has started: Refunds, if any, will be limited to the portion of work not yet performed, minus non-refundable material costs.
- After the item is completed: Custom orders are not refundable except in cases of material defect or error on our part.
8. Damage and defects
If your order arrives damaged or with a material defect, contact support@craftsbydepietro.com within 7 days of receipt with photos. We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
9. Intellectual property
Photos of completed work may be used in our portfolio, gallery, or marketing unless you request otherwise. Your uploaded inspiration images remain your property and are used only to create your order.
10. Communication
I will communicate with you using your preferred contact method. You are responsible for responding to proof approvals, questions, and payment requests in a timely manner so the project stays on schedule.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crafts by Depietro LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted here.
